In the days leading up to and the day of your event, we will discuss through email whether the weather looks like it will cooperate. If, according to local forecasts, rain is expected the same day or the night before, you may choose to cancel the drawing session at least three days in advance, and your $20 deposit will be refunded. However, should you decide to take the risk and the weather does cause the design's completion to be hindered, the total fee will be waived but the deposit will not be returned. These policies apply only until the drawing is declared "complete." Colored Dust will not be held responsible for the damage and/or destruction of any completed work.

Chalk designs are charged by square footage (<9, 10-16, and 16-25 square feet, respectively), not by each concrete slab, though the finished product may match those borders. It may also span and not cover multiple slabs, but the total area will remain within the parameters of the selected small, medium, or large drawing. The price of the drawing will be charged as such. The $20 deposit paid when the drawing is booked will factored out of the total amount, which will be charged when the drawing is declared "complete" and paid by credit/debit card or PayPal. Invoices will be emailed within 24 hours of completion.

No. Colored Dust Chalk Art is a great option for special events, parties, etc. However, if you really wanted me to come out and do a drawing in your front yard for the sake of a beautiful day or a "welcome home" for a family member, I would be glad to oblige!

Yes. When you book a drawing, the space will be provided for what kind of design you would like, including colors/characters/words/etc. Three days prior to your session, you will receive an email to address potential weather conditions and discuss your desired design, nailing down the best options for the drawing and making sure everything is good to go! Note: Colored Dust reserves the right to refuse to create any design that does not align with the personal and moral beliefs of the artist.

Yes. Chalk drawings can be used for advertising, announcements, parties, etc., as long as the language remains clean and honorable. Note: small print is difficult to read and will not draw attention, so if your drawing is smaller (9 square feet or below), it is suggested that words be few. Colored Dust will not publicly post pictures of any completed drawing without the permission of the customer, so information (e.g. children's names, locations, etc.) can be considered safe if the customer wishes that they remain private.
